Celebrating Our Norwegian-Minnesotan Heritage: A Sesquicentennial Celebration of Minnesota’s Norwegian Pioneers

The celebration of Minnesota’s Sesquicentennial would not have been complete without acknowledging its Norwegian pioneers. This book is the result of a request for submissions of stories of Norwegians in Minnesota Territory and pioneers through 1908, brief biographies of Norwegians who lived in Minnesota at the time of statehood and a list of later Norwegian settlers (through 1908), St. Olaf Medal winners, an account of the NSPP sesquicentennial celebration.
