Description
Very nice view of the city of Duluth, Minnesota, from Skyline Drive (now Skyline Parkway) circa the 1940s. Think how great this print would look on your wall – and what a thoughtful, memorable gift this would make!
Duluth is a port city on Lake Superior in St. Louis County in Minnesota. The waterfront Lakewalk trail passes along Canal Park, with views of the 1905 Aerial Lift Bridge. The landmark connects the city to the Park Point sandbar. The Great Lakes Aquarium includes salt- and freshwater animals. Housed in a former train depot, Lake Superior Railroad Museum features vintage locomotives. Glensheen is a 1908 mansion on a vast lakeside estate.
Skyline Parkway is one of Duluth’s treasures, uniquely showcasing the city from end to end while providing spectacular views of Lake Superior and the St. Louis River Bay. Skyline Parkway offers many observations overlooks along the way. Many of the neighboring parks and trails offer recreational activities such as hiking, cross-country skiing, bird watching, and more. Be sure to see what highlights Skyline Parkway has to offer.
