Description

Beautiful vintage view of Fleming’s Lake Winnibigoshish Tourist Camp near Bena, Minnesota, from the 1920s.

Lake Winnibigoshish is a body of water in north-central Minnesota, in the Chippewa National Forest. Its name comes from the Ojibwe language Wiinibiigoonzhish, a diminutive and pejorative form of Wiinibiig, meaning “filthy water”.

Bena is a city in Cass County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 116 at the 2010 census.

A bit of history, fantastic for dropping friends or family a note the old-fashioned way, and makes a great gift! This is a reproduction of the original 1910s postcard. Postcard image from LakesnWoods.com.
