Description

From the back of the postcard: “Front Street, looking north. Front Street, one of the most prominent thoroughfares in the city, contains blocks of stores, high-class business buildings, and shows every evidence of commercial importance. Mankato has many manufactories, three national banks, a state normal school, and a board of trade.”

Mankato is a city in Blue Earth, Nicollet, and Le Sueur counties in the state of Minnesota. The population was 44,488 according to the 2020 census, making it the 21st–largest city in Minnesota outside the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area.

A bit of history, fantastic for dropping friends or family a note the old-fashioned way, and makes a great gift! This is a reproduction of the original 1912 postcard.
