Description
Six very nice image of Lake Vermillion, Minnesota from the 1940s. Think how great this would look on your wall and also what a memorable gift this would make!
Lake Vermilion is a shallow freshwater lake in northeastern Minnesota, United States. The Ojibwe originally called the lake Onamanii-zaaga’iganiing, which means “the evening sun tinting the water a reddish color”. French fur traders translated this to the Latin word Vermilion, which is a red pigment.
A bit of history, fantastic for both area residents and those vacationing here, and makes a great gift! This is a reproduction from an original 1940s postcard. Available in 3.5 inch x 5.5 inch postcards and prints from 4 inch by 6 inch to 13 inch by 19 inch sizes.
