The Spruce Mine was both an underground and open-pit iron mine first operated by Adams Mining Company and later by Oliver Iron Mining Company. It closed in the mid-1950s.

Eveleth is a city in St. Louis County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 3,718 at the 2010 census. U.S. Highway 53 and State Highway 37 are two of the main routes in Eveleth.
