State Normal School, Mankato, Minnesota, 1906 Postcard Reproduction
Built in 1870, this stately building served as Old Main for the Minnesota Normal School aka State Teachers College until it burned in 1922. The Minnesota Normal School went through several name changes over the years and is now Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Mankato is a city in Blue Earth, Nicollet, and Le Sueur counties in the state of Minnesota. The population was 44,488 according to the 2020 census, making it the 21st–largest city in Minnesota outside the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area.
A bit of history, fantastic for dropping friends or family a note the old-fashioned way, and makes a great gift! This is a reproduction of the original 1906 postcard.
